Level Up! Was at Cebu

This YouTube video (thanks GM Tristan) does a great job (in my opinion at least) of showing why Level Up! is popular here in the Philippines. The company cultivates a masa-oriented image, in this case showing a few employees mingling about with LU customers during Cebu’s Sinulog festival.

The search giant has teamed up with New America Foundation’s Open Technology Institute and PlanetLab Consortium to create Measurement Labs, a server platform and a series of software tools to measure broadband speeds, whether or not your ISP is filtering BitTorrent traffic and a diagnostic tool for last-mile problems.

That’s safe computing right there.

Legislators use this to show where laws have been modified, printing the replaced portions of the law with a strikethrough line such as you see above. Most of you probably won’t need to use this effect, except maybe when writing humorous pieces.

Besides, if you suddenly encountered a picture of her on her Friendster (right), what would you do? Would you keep the beauty to yourself, or use any excuse you can find to share the wealth with your readers? The defense rests its case, your honor.
